About Fruit Slash

Fruit Slash is a free browser slicer in the classic fruit-slicing arcade tradition, dressed up as a lantern-lit night market. Mochi, a chef-cat, tosses fruit and mooncakes high over the stall, and you drag one finger — or your mouse — to cut them out of the air with a glowing blade trail. The scoring hook is the combo: slice several pieces in a single unbroken stroke and the bonus climbs with each one, so the real skill is reading the sky and carving a path that links four or five fruit before you lift off. It's endless and it never stops ramping — the tosses come faster, bigger, and with more bombs the longer you last. Two things end a run: slicing a bomb (a dark sphere with a lit fuse) is an instant loss, and letting fruit fall past you costs one of your three lives. Bombs that fall untouched are harmless, so restraint matters as much as speed. Jade you earn each run banks into the Spice Pantry, where permanent upgrades genuinely change the next run — extra lives, a one-time bomb defuse, a bigger combo multiplier, an opening slow-motion window, and a frost-melon that freezes time when you slice it. Everything is hand-drawn vector art with no emoji, the interface is bilingual English/中文, and your best score saves locally. No download required.

How to play

Desktop: hold and drag the mouse across the flying fruit to slice them — the blade trail follows your cursor. Mobile: swipe with one finger; the same swept-blade cut works identically on both. Press Space or Enter (or tap) to start and to restart. Slice as many fruit as you can in one continuous stroke for a COMBO bonus; lifting your finger or releasing the mouse begins a fresh combo. Never cut a bomb — a dark sphere ringed in red with a lit fuse — because slicing one ends the run instantly; just let bombs fall off-screen, where they're harmless. Each fruit that drops un-sliced costs one of your three lives. Tips: (1) Wait for the fruit to cluster near the peak of their arc, then sweep through the whole group in a single stroke — chained combos are worth far more than picking off fruit one at a time. (2) When a bomb is mixed into a cluster, slice around it with a curved stroke rather than a straight swipe, or simply skip that group and let it fall. (3) Spend jade in the Spice Pantry early on Extra Bowls and Sharp Cleaver — more lives and a bigger combo multiplier compound every run after.
