About Ping Pong

Ping Pong is a fast, physics-driven table tennis duel you play free in your browser — no download, no sign-up. It's the classic first-to-seven format: rally the ball back and forth, aim your returns off the edge of your paddle to steer the angle, and try to slip one past a computer opponent that genuinely fights back. The AI reads the ball, predicts the bounce, and even fires its own smashes — but it's tuned to never be perfect, easing off when it's well ahead and pressing when it's losing, so a comeback is always on the table. Where Ping Pong goes beyond a bare paddle game is touch: swipe fast on contact to bend the ball with Magnus-style spin, or pull your paddle back and release to unleash a charged smash that briefly slows time on a full hit. Every few points a power-up drops into the rally — grab BIG to widen your paddle for eight seconds, or BOOST to kick the ball's speed and spin. Successful returns quietly bank 'rally points' you can spend in the Paddle Shop on recolored paddles and balls; those unlocks are purely cosmetic and never touch the physics, so every match is decided by skill alone. Your career win count is saved locally between sessions, and it plays instantly on desktop with mouse or keyboard and on any phone with a single finger.

How to play

Desktop: move your paddle by hovering the mouse left and right, or steer with the Left and Right arrow keys. To charge a smash, hold the left mouse button and drag down (or hold Space / the Down arrow), then release to fire. Mobile: slide one finger anywhere to steer; pull back — drag downward — and release to smash. On any device, swipe quickly across the ball at the moment of contact to add curving spin. First player to 7 points wins, and the loser serves the next point. Tips: (1) Hit the ball with the edge of your paddle, not the center — the contact point sets the return angle, so edge-hits open up sharp cross-court winners. (2) Save your charged smash for a ball sitting high and slow; a full-power smash triggers a brief slow-motion window that makes it far harder to return. (3) Grab the BIG power-up when you're defending and BOOST when you have the AI scrambling — and don't over-rely on spin, because at higher scores the AI starts killing incoming curve.
